Metal scrap can be divided into types and grades according to Czech Standard 420030.
Scrap grade:
distinguishes and classifies cast iron and steel scrap according to its chemical composition.
Scrap type:
distinguishes and classifies cast iron and steel scrap according to the shape, size, or weight of individual pieces.
Metal scrap also includes non-ferrous metals such as:
- Copper
- Brass
- Aluminum
- Lead
