PROMET CZECH s.r.o. was established in 1992. From the very beginning it was engaged in supplies of the raw materials, especially raw iron for steel works and foundries in Czechoslovakia. Later on, the company expanded its activities in the territory of neighbouring countries (Germany, Austria, and Poland) and started delivering coke and chemical products (i.e. coke, coke dust) and ferroalloys. In the course of its existence it has attained a significant position in supplier-purchaser relationships with most Czech and Slovak foundries and steel works. At present, it belongs among strategic suppliers of such companies as Mittal Steel Group, Vítkovice Steel, U.S. Steel, etc. As for the purchasing and ensuring of incoming raw materials for our customers we cooperate directly with the producers of the selected strategic raw materials in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, and China. The company representatives regularly participate in professional worldwide conferences and specialized metallurgical exhibitions. The company also provides its customers with a professional consultancy through external cooperation with experts and university teachers.
